Learn to improve — let's get started!
Bridge is the world's most popular, exciting and challenging card game. Millions of people all around the world play bridge!
Playing bridge keeps the mind active. It is good for concentration and helps develop reasoning and logic skills. Most importantly, it can provide endless hours of entertainment and is suitable for people of all age groups.

Dendy Park Bridge Club is a great place to start your bridge playing and a great place to continue to learn and improve your game. We run a variety of lessons, tutorials and workshops throughout the year and offer bridge play for all levels — beginner & supervised, intermediate through to advanced. We offer group tuition as well as tailored one-on-one private lessons.

Each month we offer a workshop covering issues related to bidding, conventions, declarer play, or defending. Our monthly workshops are in addition to private lessons on demand and our regular supervised classes (Tuesday evenings) and our FREE Thursday workshops (11.30am). We regularly offer group beginner lessons too, but if you would rather not wait, try a private lesson.

Private lessons

Private lessons are a great way to improve quickly and take your game to a new level.

Private lessons provide an opportunity to identify strengths and weaknesses and focus attention on the best way to improve.

George and Boris are each available to provide private lessons. All lessons are tailored to your individual requirements and include relevant notes and follow-up material.

We cater for one-on-one and group lessons. Please feel free to chat to us in the club or give us call or drop us an email.

What's supervised?

After completing a beginner program the next step is to move into supervised play sessions to start practising your new found skills.
Supervised play is a session where you can play at your own pace to make well considered actions to increase your understandings.

Our lead teacher will be at your fingtips in each supervised sessions. Your expert teacher is there to help by answering questions, helping you to analyse the bidding and play, lending a hand when you feel stuck, offering tips and teaching you some new tricks.
